Indendent security researchers are selectively being invited by Apple to join in on the developer preview release of Lion, signalling a shift in policy by the company and a desire to get outside views on security improvements in OS X 10.7, according to a report on CNet. Dino Dai Zovi and Charlie Miller, among others, are named in the post as having been invited to the prerelease seed, but are under strict non-disclosure agreements that will prevent them from discussing what they find, positive or negative, until Lion is released this summer.
