A Better Finder Attributes v5 has debuted for Snow Leopard, sporting a new user interface and a 64-bit engine to speed up performance. The program, primarily used to correct JPEG EXIF timestamps on photos, can also be used to change the modification dates on files and folders, control visibility of files, batch lock or unlock files and other features. The new version also adds automatic software updating, and is a free upgrade to purchasers since January 1st, 2009 (or those who purchased a previously-offered "forever" upgrade).
