Google's Android 3.0 user experience lead Matias Duarte in an interview on Tuesday said the interface would go beyond just tablets. The real goal of the OS was to remove the dependence on hardware controls, and designs could be dictated only by the needs at hand. "Some of them might look more like a laptop," he explained to AllThingsD. "Whatever they come up with, the most important thing is that we have given that flexibility."
