Apple is notifying employees at its retail stores that they cannot take vacation or time off during the two-week period surrounding the launch of the Verizon iPhone, BGR reports. The site received tips that mandatory blackout dates of February 5th through 18th are in force for both managers and employees, in anticipation of extraordinary traffic immediately following the arrival of the new CDMA iPhones. Store hours may also be extended, similar to holiday events, to cope with demand.
