An independent developer, Clément Vasseur, has released an app reversing the normal direction of AirPlay streaming. AirView hosts video on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, rather than pushing it to an Apple TV, as Apple originally intended. The source video can come either from another iOS handheld or a computer running iTunes.
