VUDU set to deliver streaming 3D movie content next week
VUDU has used CES as the platform to announce that it will be the first online movie rental service to offer streaming 3D movies starting next week. Connected 3D HDTVs, 3D Blu-ray players and entertainment systems from LG, Mitsubishi, Philips, Playstation 3, Samsung, Funai, Toshiba, Vizio and those that support Boxee media software will all be compatible with the new service. When streaming to a connected entertainment system, users will also require a 3D capable TV in order to be able to view the content.
