Apple has "smoked the competition" in PC World's annual ratings of the best desktops, laptops and smartphones, according to the 79,000 readers who responded to the poll on reliability and service among the major brands. Apple, Asus, Brother and Canon were found to be the most reliable brands, with Dell and Hewlett-Packard's consumer offerings being ranked the worst.
