Apple increases supplier audits, trains 133,000 workers

Apple has published its 2010 Supplier Responsibility Progress Report detailing compliance with the company's code of conduct. In 2009, 102 facilities were audited in countries such as China, the Czech Republic, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the US. The number of audits grew from 83 the prior year and 39 in 2007.
