Phil Schiller tries to explain App Story hypocrisy of "sexual content" rejections

don't worry: this is acceptable to kids and parents. Credit: App Store The NY Times' Jenna Wortham got Phil Schiller to go on record about Apple's recent purge in apps with sexual content. Mr. Schiller said Apple had to prioritize its customers. “We obviously care about developers, but in the end have to put the needs of the kids and parents first,” he said. The obvious issue is that Apple has kept apps from Playboy and Time Warner (Sports Illustrated Swimsuit app) with gratuitous skin while removing apps from small developers with much less "sexy". Are "kids and parents" ok with the apps pictured here vs. a girl in a bikini cleaning a screen?
