Ngmoco acquires Freeverse for $25M, plans free iPhone games

iPhone game developer ngmoco has acquired Freeverse, another leading game producer. Ngmoco CEO Neil Young helped the company raise $25 million in series C funding necessary for the purchase, according to TechCrunch. The round of investment reportedly included Institutional Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins, Norwest Venture Partners, and Maples Investments.
