It is almost amusing to see that what is likely to become the principal announcement of Macwold Expo is a Microsoft application. The company indeed revealed the first steps of Office 2011 which will be released by the end of the year.
Microsoft has put the accent on 3 points with this new version:
To improve compatibility between the platforms
Improvement of the collaborative tools
Improvement of the user interface.
Microsoft engage with this that a document created on a platform (Mac or Windows) is completely identical when transferred to the other platform.The user interface will be more practical according to Microsoft.
