Nehalem CPUs to Be Outdated "Soon"...

It has now been 11 months that the first hardware model based on Nehamen CPU has been released. IT was a Mac Pro, and it took about 8 months to have the Nehalem desktop CPU, Core i5 and i7 to find their ways in iMacs (with the known issues) while we are still waiting for their arrival in MacBook and MacBook Pro models. On Intel roadmap, the Nehalem life cycle is getting to the end, and the new name to be in your mind should be Sandy Bridge, as this is the new CPU architecture to be released for Q1 2011. They are currently not that much information about it, despite the fact that communication between cores as well as integration of graphical chipset would be further strengthen and improved, leading to a better energy efficiency and performance. This is not so much surprising if we consider that Intel continues to apply a usual life cycle rule for its roadmap: a new CPU architecture every 2 years, sequentially released with thinner engraving process for transistors.
