hField Technologies has released Wi-Fire Connection Manager 2.0, an update to the software utility that works with the company's Wi-Fire external antenna. The latest version now runs from an icon in the Mac OS X menu bar, similar to Appleís Airport, and displays information on any supported connections that are within range. The interface provides data on both the strength and quality of each signal, with options for direct connection or disconnection from each available network.
