Vodafone sells 50,000 iPhones in UK on first day of sale

Vodafone, the fourth mobile phone operator in the UK to stock the iPhone after O2, Orange and Tesco Mobile, shipped 50,000 Apple smartphones Thursday although some customers are still waiting for their phones.
