Samsung Adds TRIM Function to its SSD Models

This is it. All major SSD manufacturers have released firmware update offering TRIM function to their SSD models. The last one was Samsung, and new firmwares are now available. Unfortunately, the upgrade procedure requires to entirely erase all data on the price, so backup first. So, now Apple does not have any remaining reason for not supporting the TRiM function on Mac OS X, and we expect that Apple will add it to its system in a future update, maybe with 10.6.3?The question remains open on the procedure: how would Apple, known for the ease of use of its update, system, interface and application, could offer a system update for the TRIM function that would require the user to erase all data on its SSD?
