Steadicam-Tiffen, maker of camera stabilization rigs, has scaled down its offering by making the first production-ready anti-shake mount for cellphones and pocket cameras. The Smoothee can grip an iPhone 3GS or Motorola Droid smartphone along with Cisco's Flip camcorders and compensates for most unintentional movement, producing a stable movie shot. Each of these devices needs to be mounted in a provided case, which has a quick-release mount built in and is specially weighted to balance the mount.
