New rumours about the first 6 core Xeon

Fudzilla would have obtained new information on the first processor equipped with 6 cores from Intel, the Core i7 980X. It will run at 3,33 GHz and would reach, thanks to the mode Turbo Boost, 3,6 GHz if all its cores are not in use. The QPI speed will be with 6,4 GB/sec , like that of top-of-the-range 4 core Xeon 4 and it will keep a support for the 1066 DDR memory(not 1333). It will have a TDP of 130W. This last point has its importance. Indeed, currently, Apple uses only one processor having a TDP of 130W, it is the 3,33 GHz processor that is proposed in option that on the Mac Pro equipped with only one CPU. On the Mac Pro equipped with two processors, the maximum TDP that Apple uses for each CPU is 85W. Thus if they want to propose such monsters to us, they will have either to re-examine the cooling of their machines, or
