A number of Windows users have reported problems when attempting to sync iPhones with select HP computers, according to several threads on Apple and HP forums. The issue appears to be limited to systems integrating Intel's Core i5 or i7 CPUs, along with Windows 7 64-bit. The combination is used on several HP machines such as the dv6t, dv7t, dv8t or Envy notebooks.
