Update: Google App Engine SDK 1.2.8

Google's software development kit for building web applications now includes support for media file attachments in outgoing mail (MPEG, MPEG-4, QuickTime, and AVI video files and FLAC, MIDI, MPEG-3, Ogg Vorbis, AIFF, and WAV audio files), partial support for data class inheritance in the Java JDO and JPA interfaces, management of task queues from the Administration console, and other improvements.
