The transition to Snow Leopard has problems with Open GL

The arrival of a new update for Mac OS X and is a good reason to hope to have better performances with the hardware. Unfortunately, this is that seldom the case, and with Snow Leopard there seems to have been a clear regressions of the performances of the Open GL drivers.  This is what  Barefeats noted by comparing the performances of certain games with several graphics cards under Mac OS 10.5.8, 10.6 and 10.6.2. With OpenGL Extensions Viewer, one notes a clear fall with the performances under Snow Leopard, in particular with Radeon, while the Geforce GTX 285 performs better.  With Xplane, the Radeons do a little better with Snow Leopard, but a bug obviously affects the drivers of the Geforce 285 under 10.6.2 which results with its performances being divided by 2!  With
