A-DATA recently showed the first waterproof and shock resistant portable hard drive, its SH93. It can withstand being submerged in up to 3.3 feet of water for 30 minutes and carries the US military's MIL-810F standards for drop resistance and resistance. The 2.5-inch drive comes in yellow or red and in 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities.
