NVIDIA New GeForce Cards To be Unveiled this Evening

According to our information, NVIDIA should organize a press conference to unveil its future generation of graphic cards. The availability should be delayed and ATI with its new and acclaimed Radeon HD 58x0 can still grab market share. The new GeForce would be GPU specifically designed and optimized for GPGPU and Open CL. New GPU should be engraved at 40 nm with up to 3 billions transistors.Currently, GeForce card are much faster than Radeon with Open CL. however, sources indicate that AMD is working hard to deliver better/optimized drivers in order to get the best from their GPU on Mac. They should arrive with Mac OS X 10.6.2. We would be pleased if both companies could start actively competing on the Open CL market and Mac OS X. It would then offer us optimized drivers for our current and future hardware. It would also imply that Apple will have to let us choose the graphic card we want to buy and not limit our choice to "Mac Editions".
