Apple Still Have Problems to Provide 250 GB HDs

Already in July we were reporting that Apple was facing a serious shortage of 2.5" HD with 250 GB of storage space to be installed in MacBook and MacBook Pro. As a consequence it massively delayed availability and/or shipment of those models or BTO. as a consequence such models or BTO. If the amount of orders slightly decreased in August, releasing a bit the pressure on Apple, the Back to School season already raised the pressure up. We have learned that Apple is struggling for getting access to a larger volume of 250 GB HDs. this is also affecting the repair channel when the said HD is the faulty unit.  Instead of claiming that HD manufacturers have problems to produce enough units, one could also imagine that Apple did not plan such large volume or order for its MacBook models and did not reserve/stock enough units.
