Mac OS X 10.6.1; it has already started...

According to  AppleInsider, Apple sent at the beginning of week to certain developers the first beta of the first update of Snow Leopard. We do not know what it fixes, but the small annoyances of Snow Leopard are still rather numerous so that there is an embarrassingly large choice.  However it is surprising that only a restricted group of developers was entitled to this update. Apple probably is hiding certain aspects or certain improvements that were not ready for the official launch. It would not be surprising if it is released at the time the official release of Windows 7, thus giving a bit of news coverage to Apple.
