RIM, the company known for its Blackberry mobile phones, announced to have acquired Torch Mobile, a start-up specialized in internet-dedicated applications. RIM plans to take advantage of their expertise to improve its internet browser installed on Blackberries. This indeed is a good idea, as despite some analysts claiming that the iPhone is for customers and gamers, and Blackberry for managers and business, we do not wish anybody to have to access internet frequently on a Blackberry; he would switch immediately to the iPhone.
