Despite current rumors of a forthcoming Mac Tablet, our sources indicate that the Special Event planned on September 9th will be dedicated to the new iPods (at least). It could also be a perfect timing for Apple to announce the new fully remasterized albums from "The Beatles". Indeed, the same date was selected for the launch of RockBand Beatles, and it would nicely tag the date as: 09/09/09. Concerning the Mac Tablet, our information indicates that it will not be released, and might even not be launched anytime soon. This situation would be similar to the one we experienced about 4 years ago when the iPhone was expected so heavily by analysts and finally came out 2 years later.
