Rumored September event likely to omit tablet

Apple should indeed be holding a publicity event in September, but it will not highlight the company's rumored tablet computer, "very reliable" sources are said to claim. Some media reports have pointed to a September announcement for the device, typically described as having a 10-inch touchscreen, an iPhone-like design and a built-in 3G connection.
