Report claims China Unicom to offer iPhones from next month

Apple has solved its Chinese puzzle, sealing some deal with carrier, China Unicom, under which the latter firm will begin selling iPhones in China next month, the latest information shows. Zhou Youmeng, deputy general manger for the China Unicom Guangdong branch, confirmed this news in chat with SinoCast Daily Business Beat yesterday, the report suggests.
