Opéra Would Like to Be more Present on Mac OS X

While Microsoft tried to release a browser-free European version of Windows 7, the company was pushed by the EC to offer the choice to users to select their favorite browser during installation of the system. Developers of Opera browser would like to extend this procedure to Mac OS X. They recognize that users can freely decide of their browser on Mac OS X, by they think that such procedure might make Opera more popular as many users do not know it. However, when looking at the statistics from our readers, it turns out that they know Opera, but prefer other browsers, and do not need such procedure to choose another browser than Safari:
