Changes on the New White MacBook

Let's first remind you the main changes introduced with the last White MacBook (mid-2009) when compared to the previous model (early 2009): CPU  2.13 GHz vs. 2.0 GHz Larger storage capacity for HD Faster DDR2 memory from 667 to 800 MHz* There is also a invisible modification. The motherboard has been slightly modified. Now ,the CPU thermal sensor is not installed on the heatsink, but directly on the motherboard. It does not make a lot of a difference technically, however this change might be the solution for the issue faced by many White MacBook owners leading to random freeze of the system. * This point is most probably the main reason why the performance level of the new White MacBook jumped so strongly and even overtook the previous entry-level Unibody MacBook. AS, the Unibody MacBook have been officially renamed 13" MacBook Pro, one will have to run a new test side-by-side.
