iTunes 8.2.0 brings iPhone OS 3.0 support, annoyance.

Well, looks like the new version of iTunes is bringing more security to the iPhone syncing process Now, if you plug a locked (as in password-locked) iPhone into your Mac, iTunes will complain that it cannot sync with the iPhone because it is password protected, and can you please unlock it before syncing? It's not a big deal, but it break the plug/sync/unplug simplicity of the previous process: now you have to remember to unlock your iPhone before pluging it, if it is password locked. I guess that goes in the same bag as the fact that iPhone OS 3.0 will encrypt iPhone backups on your computer (which will rejoice security conscious people).
