New iPhone hardware to have digital compass

BGR has some screengrabs of some debugging screen in the new beta releases of the iPhone 3 OS.  It looks like those magnetometer (digital compass) features of the new iPhone hardware we saw earlier are legit-er.  Question: What is the "kitchen sink?" (as in Everything but the kitchen sink?) This brings up some interesting possibilites when combined with video and still pictures.  The GPS metatags combined with direction can build 3D landscapes.
