The large cash owned by Apple drives many analysts into crazy (or not) hypothesis. Yesterday, a rumor indicated that Apple might acquire Twitter, a rather surprising idea, as both companies do not have any obvious synergy.Now, another rumor indicates that Apple might be seriously considering Electronics Arts as a potential prey. This is of course a more rational rumor as Apple seems to be (finally) recognizing the potential of games in its business, as illustrated recently by the amount of games released for the iPhone and iPod Touch. If one looks closely, Apple recently recruited several game-related executives and/or specialists, among them one of the ex-head of Microsoft Xbox division.
