While we have been reporting earlier that NVidia might be considering more than just a partnership with VIA, Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO and president of NVidia dismissed investment rumors. He indicated that the current partnership is only focusing on delivering support for VIA CPUs for the upcoming Ion 2 chipset platform, and that the company has no plan to make any investment in VIA. He also indicated that several companies are currently testing the Ion platform with Intel ATOM CPU, he confirmed that the Ion platform will be one of the Nvidia's key products for the future.
