New iMacs offer more value than competition - report

While some industry watchers are incessant in their pleas for Apple to trim the cost of its Mac computer line in order to better compete with its peers, a fresh analysis argues that new iMacs introduced Tuesday already compare quite favorably with their Windows-based counterparts and are likely to boost sales of the sluggish Mac desktop segment.
