News: Coders bring Mac OS 7 to iPhone

A group of iPhone developers has succeeded in getting Mac OS System 7 to run on the device, and has posted a number of photos showing the software in action. The application uses code from the QEMU processor emulator, and the “About This Macintosh” screen shows the device as a Macintosh Plus. Classic Mac applications MacPaint, MacDraw, and Calculator are all shown to load and run properly, although there is currently no way to enter text.…
