MacBook sensors reveal coffee spills

Liquid Submersion Indicators to the new MacBooks will change colour if they are exposed to liquid. Don’t spill coffee on your new MacBook or MacBook Pro. Apple has built in Liquid Submersion Indicators to the new Macs. These sensors are located under the keyboard and will change colour if they are exposed to liquid.
