'Time Bomb' snafu hobbles VMware users

Patch fixes crippled VMware softwareVMware – developers of VMware Fusion, the virtualization software for running Windows on a Mac – rushed out an emergency patch last week after a software-development snafu crippled the virtual servers of some users of its ESX 3.5 and ESXi 3.5 products for server virtualisation.
