WiFi chip sales soar, group says

WiFi chip shipments will soar to 300 million this year, the WiFi Alliance predicted.Shipments of WiFi chipsets will hit 300 million this year and more than 9 per cent will have gone into dual-mode phones, the WiFi Alliance industry group will announce today.
