My laptop is an HP Pavilion dvca, is still no sound coming out of my speakers. I finally fix worked for me as well. I have reinstalled Windows 7 twice and there it out the speakers run for a second and then no sound again. I want to upgrade to Windows 7 and have been looking Definition Audio 4.
