Apple is setting up a research and development center in Shenzhen to bolster the company’s rocky relationship with China, Reuters reports. The announcement of the Shenzhen facility comes just two months after Apple’s promise to place a similar center in Beijing. While in China, CEO Tim Cook touted the company’s search for local software developers to work closely with Apple’s Chinese manufacturing partners.
