As the name suggests, STM's Grip 2 for iPad Air ($45) is the followup to Grip, which was released for both the previous-generation iPad and iPad mini. The plastic lid still has a ridged texture, but the pop-out stand on the back has been made much wider, helping to improve its stability. Still missing is button coverage, though, which is a bit of a drawback.
