Misfit, co-founded by former Apple CEO John Sculley, has announced the arrival of its Shine fitness tracker at Apple's online and offline stores. The device is a small waterproof disc that can be clipped onto clothing or optional bands and necklaces, and syncs with a matching iPhone app when users place it on an iOS device's screen. From the app people can not only track their motion, but set progress goals which can later be checked by tapping the Shine and watching a series of concentric lights appear.
