Apple agrees to modify iPhone return policies in S. Korea

Apple has agreed to make changes in its customer-service policies on iPhones sold in that country so that customers -- not Apple -- will choose from options when an iPhone is defective, Bloomberg reports. South Korea's Fair Trade Commission is enforcing the change, the first time Apple has altered its policies on replacement units. Normally, the company chooses either to issue a refund, replace the phone or repair it free of charge.
