Acer EMEA president Walter Deppeler commented Friday that he saw Microsoft, not Google, profiting the most from Google's buyout of Motorola. The acquisition was a "good gift" as it would lead some companies to go to another OS now that they had to compete against Google in hardware, Reuters was told. Acer itself has primarily been an Android phone designer in the past two years but is getting back with the M310 due this fall.
