Oppenheimer: Google's Motorola purchase 'a lot of money'

Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer commented in a conference call with investors yesterday on the recent acquisition by Google of Motorola Mobility and its patent portfolio, saying he thought the purchase price of $12.5 billion -- Google's largest-ever acquisition -- "is a lot of money." While remaining tight-lipped on questions regarding Apple's own plans, he added that Apple will continue to "vigorously" defend its intellectual property, AppleInsider reports.
