Should Apple win current legal battles, payoff would be huge

Bernstein's Toni Sacconaghi issued a research note to clients Thursday regarding Apple's current patent lawsuits against many of the manufacturers of Android phones. In it, Sacconaghi says that he likes Apple's chances of winning -- a lot. He notes that going into the patent suits, Apple has more to lose than the other companies, thus Apple wouldn't file suits against those companies unless it was sure it could win. Philip Elmer-Dewitt has pulled out the most interesting notes from Sacconaghi's statement, which we relay here for interest's sake:
