Google Maps on mobile gets London Underground directions

Google Maps now sports public transport directions for London, UK in its iOS, BlackBerry and Android apps, the search giant said on Thursday. Earlier this month, Google introduced Transit Navigation beta for Android device owners that also allowed this for London and other cities. The new multi-platform app uses a user's current location to deduce the best trip to a destination using transit.
