Prosoft Engineering has released Data Rescue 3 LE, a modified version of the company's data recovery tool, in the Mac App Store. Due to Apple's restrictions the company cannot offer all of the features found in the full version of Data Rescue. As a result, the company decided to develop a limited version of the software that adhered to App Store restrictions and could be offered through Apple's new software store.
