Sprint, AT&T grilled by nine states on AT&T, T-Mobile deal

Public details have emerged Tuesday of requests to Sprint from nine states for their investigations into AT&T's proposed buyout of T-Mobile. Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington, along with the Department of Justice, have subpoenaed the company for many of the objections and details it had provided to the FCC in May. AT&T has also been asked for information by the same parties.
